For me, Thanksgiving has always been my favorite holiday, even ahead of Christmas, because it focuses not so much on what one physically gives or receives, but on a change in one’s state of mind. Gratitude is not so much about saying ‘thank you’, but about being in a state of appreciation for the things one has (or in some cases does not have) and the people around you that bless your life.
Thanksgiving is also a great time for crafting and DIY projects to decorate your home and create a festive atmosphere. If you’re looking for a fun and easy Thanksgiving craft, why not make a turkey out of a pine cone and a button as its face?
You can make multiple turkeys of different sizes and colors to add variety to your decor. They can be placed on your dining table, mantel, windowsill, or even used as place settings for your Thanksgiving dinner.
