My Very Own Atelier

In fall, a simple walk through nature can provide you with plenty of ideas for new projects. One of these sources of inspirations are walnut shells, the perfect materials to make beautiful Christmas tree ornaments. Following the tradition of an advent calendar, below are 24 days of working with walnuts, acorns and fruit bits.

We begin our journey with cleaning walnuts, a necessary prerequisite before we can start with all our projects. On our journey, birds are fed, candles are created and many additional little nice things to have are discovered. The final days focus on religious themes as we get closer and closer to end.
